Expected behaviour

On a physical iPhone with the app fresh-installed (or signed out), tap "Have a household invite? Tap here." Grant camera permission when prompted. Point at the Owner's QR code displayed on another device. Camera permission sheet appears. QR scan detects the code within 10s. HelperWelcomeView appears with the correct pet name. Fades to HomeView showing only authorised pets.

Why human

AVCaptureSession does not run in the iOS simulator; the camera permission prompt is a system dialog that cannot be automated.
